VIBRANT CERAMICS EXPO & SUMMIT 2017 COMES TO A SUCCESSFUL BEGINNING.
Vibrant Ceramics Expo and Summit 2017 was the second of the many editions to be planned and organized by Morbi Ceramics Associations (MCA) and Octagon Communications Pvt Ltd from 16th to 19th November 2017 at Gandhinagar, India, with the agile and efforts and support of the State Government of Gujarat. Following the vision of Hon’ble PM of India Shri Narendra Modi, this expo became the largest expo of finished ceramic and sanitary ware products in the world, with an exhibition area alone of 50 thousand sq meters with over 250 exhibitors from the ceramic cluster of Morbi, and a few from the bath fitting cluster of Mathura.

The expo which was a 4 day affair saw a participation of over 2000 foreign trade visitors from more than 102 countries, including from the major economies and the major ceramic and sanitary ware manufacturers, exporters, and importers including Spain, Italy, Romania, Poland, Canada, USA, Australia, Vietnam, Thailand, Nepal, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, UAE, Oman, Saudi Arabia, Kenya, Tanzania and many more, that contributed to the success of the expo. This expo saw a participation of major ceramic, sanitary ware, architectural, building/construction associations, various chambers of commerce, and a lot of trade bodies from across the world, providing an opportunity for A2A tie up in addition to B2B, B2C, G2G also.

UNVEILING OF VIBRANT CERAMICS MAGAZINE

In this era of technology and competition, delivery of knowledge and conceptual ideas plays essential role. It is time to bring out a quality magazine on ceramics industry. A quality magazine is a platform to express at what we are, what we think, and what we can do. It can give a perfect birds-eye view on and all in advance regarding the trending stream in the industry. It is our prime motto to give our best to the industry. We are more than sure that this vibrant ceramics magazine platform will allow ceramics industry to grow in a bigger way.

KNOWLEDGE SEMINAR & SUMMIT

This expo saw some of the major ceramic manufacturing and importing companies participate, including Beaumont Tiles from Australia, Wilcon Home Depot from Philippines, Boonthavorn from Thailand, True Value Products Pvt. Ltd from Sri Lanka, Anatolia Tile + Stone from Turkey, many of which with this expo have begun working with the ceramic companies in India. The expo had also organized various knowledge seminars and sessions. One of the prominent discussions of these was a round table conference organized on 17th November, addressed by leaders of major ceramic and sanitary ware associations regionally, meant to initiate and plan the idea of a “World Federation of Ceramics”, to work together to ease and simplify ceramic and sanitary ware trade and more importantly to address the various concerns the global ceramic industry faces on a common platform. VCES provided the perfect platform to discuss important topics, developments that affect the ceramic trade across the world day and again by Besides the various facilities offered to the overseas trade visitors including complimentary hotel accommodation, local transport, the expo had also made arrangements for their factory visits, which are based in Morbi some 250 kms away from the expo venue. With these visits, the importers got a chance to understand the manufacturing process implemented by the companies they are interested in dealing with. These visits also provided an insight into the quality, the quantity of the tiles organizing a panel discussion addressed by panelists (ceramic buyers) from 5 continents with the discussion aimed specifically to open up and explore the possibility of internationalization of ceramic trade, the various factors under play that affect the process, and the means to achieve that for the betterment of all those involved. these companies produce, the designs used, the technologies involved for the same, the raw materials used, the logistics involved and much more, making it easier for these importers to start doing business with these companies

AWARD AND CULTURAL NIGHT

Popularly known as the vibrant ceramics exhibition awards night. A galaxy of stars, socialites, celebrities, policy makers and dignitaries from India and other countries were presented to vibrant ceramics award and cultural nights. Awards were presented for various categories. They say, if you can make it here, you can make it anywhere. So we did! And we gathered to identify individual potentials, to boost up the business and making the best out of it. The largest contingent of Indian cinema were all set to park them self and give VCES another unique global platform to bring together various cultures, communities, businesses and people.

LAUNCHING OF VIBRANT CERAMICS 2018

celebrating the legacy of vibrant ceramics series, the next year edition i.e. Vibrant Ceramics 2018 was unveiled by Bollywood actress Amisha Patel, who stated India as a guru in world ceramics market in upcoming years. The launching ceremony held at the exhibition centre as part of 2nd edition of Vibrant Ceramics , a pursuing event with the highest number of exhibitors and visitors as compare to any of the exhibition. The 3rd Edition of Vibrant Ceramics will take place in the month of December 2018. The dates are yet to finalize.

CLOSING CEREMONY

The VIBRANT CERAMICS ended with a spectacular carnival-inspired closing ceremony, and PEOPLE CELEBRATED LIKE A BOSS!! The colourful ceremony, lasting almost two hours, celebrated with traditional attire people playing noise with band baja and flute !! Among the highlights were a parade roadshow followed by almost all exhibitors and delegation across globe. exhibition officially closed the business time at display of the 300+ exhibitors and 150000+ visitors. The ceremony, watched by hundreds of people around the world over live social media, featured the parade of exhibitors and a dramatic extinguishing of the band baja.
